Dynamometer Results & Comparisons - 70 more hp?

Hey guys I just recently had my car dyno tuned and I wasn't quite happy with the results. The numbers that I pulled were 380/ 350. I am wondering what else bolt ons I need to gain at least 450hp. Thanks!

I have run 11.90 with 380 rwhp on a mustang dyno! It's not a bad number, and I have beaten cars in the 400 horse range! I think its more important to get traction to the ground to win races.

That number is going to be hard to hit with an LS1 in a stalled auto car. With every bolt-on, and a bigger cam, you might be lucky to hit 430.

With a vindicator cam, ss4000 stall, underdrive pulley, lt headers, tsp true duals, air lid, k&n, deleted cats/smog pump/air, (stock or ls6 dont know) heads and intake, and a good tune, Through a Strange s60 w/3.73's mine put down 391rwhp. I don't think 450 should be out of reach with good heads and fast intake and throttle body. If need be, have a nitrous bottle hooked up just in case. I know I do.

Ditch the Flowmaster.

What's done to the 243 heads? They need a great port job.

Change cams. You aren't gonna make 450 with a TR230 with an auto.

Get a ported FAST intake.

That should get you closer.

AFR205 heads milled to get me 11.1:0 comp,got me 40hp over a stock ported ls1 head from a top sponsor. A non ported 90mm fast intake with th-body got me 20hp over a ls6 intake. a gm 85mm massiar got me 9hp on the dyno and still had the screen in it. There is your hp....and your cam is a wimp too. Get something like a g5x3 from LG Motorsports.the flowmaster is junk!!! You do not have a mustang,so loose it for a borla or something.lol I would just get a stock 01 camaro ss catback with a cutout. My boy gains only 5hp when his cutout opens,so you know his factory ss cat is flowing. he has a 383ci that made 500hp on a stang dyno.
