Default 4l60e shifting trouble

im using hp tuners, built tranny, shift kit,4000ss yank,on motor it shifts early and on spray it bangs the rev at 6900,shift is set at 5800rpms and 29 mph,i keep going down trying to get it to shift right, i want it to shift around 6700 on motor and spray, my pressure is already a tad over normal, any info?

+1. Banging on the rev limiter, especially in first is usually a sign of the clutch plates failing. You might have to go through the trans again unfortunatly. Unless some electronics in the trans have gone out...

well had the tranny built last year had that problem, tuned on it for a while, could not get it to shift on time, so had shift kit installed and had them go threw the tranny again, i did not know if there where some special settings in the shift tables

Don't know what gear ratio you are running so I can't figure out the shift mph. You need to make sure it is set a bit lower than where you want the shift so it will shift on rpm. Make sure the part throttle shift table is adjusted to match the full throttle table in the last column.
