Default Tuning in Tucson

Well the old Z is running rich and trying to call missfires at low RPMS. Aka i need to get my tune tweaked out.

Just pcs'd from Abilene TX and am now stationed in Tucson. Which i love so far.

Anyone know a good tuner around here or perhaps Phoenix? Would like to find one in town preferably.

Thanks!

NicD does most of the LS1 tuning in Phoenix. You can get a hold of him by e-mail at nicdtuning@gmail.com

Hi from another Tucson dude! I'm responding to a 4-5 yr. old post you made in LS-1 forum. It seems like we have / had the same vehicle...at least one of yours is the same as mine. I've got a 2000 Camaro SLP SS Convertible. It's my wife's car. I ordered it new from Watson. Got everything the order book had to offer except the Auburn rear end. It does have an automatic, which is fine with me. OK...my question, and hopefully you'll get this message: My SS has 165K on it...still running very strong. Never had heads off motor, etc. But the day is coming closer to where I'll need to do something about a new motor. Personally, I want to keep this a matching numbers car. Do you know anybody in Tucson that will actually R+R the motor....and rebuild the LS-1 correctly??? I want to keep it box stock....but do want the motor balanced. I'd like to have this all lined out before the motor goes south. Thank you!! joel
