Default Been looking for a while ... finally found it!

I chatted with several folks on here and Cadillac Forums who had cars for sale. But nothing just fell into place.

This 06 was listed over the weekend at a dealership about an hour away.

A couple phone calls and I was driving it home.

06
55K
36 month GMPP
Minor service history
$22.5K

Not my first Cadillac ... but my first that had a serious kick in the pants. Not my first choice in color, but it is a close 2nd.

I'm about to wear you guys out asking questions ...

First complaint? Freaking Skip-a-Shift ...
Second? I feel like I'm stirring soup instead getting the next gear.

First suprise? pedal placement ... makes Heel/Toe downshifting a breeze.

Nice man!! Where in TX are you located?

Skip shift sucks! Stock shifter sucks! And yes, pedal placement is nice... lol

Congrats! Welcome to the club! You'll love the car. I'm convinced 99% of the people on the road who don't either own a V or Corvette have no idea what this car is or capable of. Having a family of 5 and coming from a 2000 Impala and a 99 FRC Corvette, I'm extremely happy with the blend of performance and comfort the V offers. However, I'm a bit worried that once my warranty runs out I'll once again fall into the power "mod hell" like I did with the vette.

COOL. Looks like my car, except I have a yellow & blue pin stripe, plus a couple of other personalizations.

that red really sneaks up on ya. It's extremely rare to see a "V" that color, but I finally saw one heading up the interstate yesterday. Cool color.
