Well, I guess it's safe to say that 550 rear wheel horsepower combined with BMR suspension and sticky tires is just too much for the stock half shafts.

We went to the track to test our Xtreme rear anti-roll bar and broke the passenger side half shaft at the small-to-large transition point of the outer CV. We never even got a pass in, it broke on the first pass, right out of the hole. :guns:

Project TriloG has had a few setbacks already and we are just getting started. I'm sure this won't be the last thing to break. Stay tuned!

Finally got my hands on a 5th gen, sorry to say it wasn't mine tho, I gave a hand in pushing BMRs Camaro back to their trailer after breaking at the track.

I'm not surprised, but I thought the clutch would go first.

A lot of stock 5th gens have snapped axles @ stock HP levels. When I ordered my mods I was on a ship for 35 days, so I got everything at once, cam, nitrous, cai, exhaust, Hendrix 1000 hp axles. Only thing I waited on was someone to get some suspension parts designed & as soon as I saw the post over here with your trailing arms I got some of those too. I guess now I'm going to be waiting on the Anti Roll bar. ;) What tires were you running?

Hopefully the Z28 axles will be a cheap bolt-in OEM solution here in a year or so

Be nice if there was a easy prefabed moser/BMR straight axle 3 link like the 98-02 f bodys :) for these cars
