Default Help asap!

Hello, I'm buying a full exhaust for my 00 WS6 6-spd from the WS6 store and having a local shop do the install. So far, these are the parts I'm getting:

98-02 LS1 1 3/4 " BBK Full Length Header System (Ceramic Coated) (w/ ORY)

98-02 LS1 Hooker Catback Exhaust System

I need to know what else I need to bolt this set-up up without having the SES light on. I've also heard something about motor mounts??

Please help me with these questions!

Thanks,
Cole

PS only other mods are a lid and a de-screened MAF.

I agree with the post above.

You should definitely plan to upgrade your motor mounts while you have the exhaust out of the way. It'll save yourself loads of headache, if you do them now.

Although the resulting SES light from these mods won't affect performance, in order to eliminate it, you will need an aftermarket tune for your PCM. With the ORY you will remove your rear O2 Sensors and that will throw a code.

Just last week I reinstalled my PCM with a Mail-Order-Tune from TunedByFrost.com. SES light gone and a very nice performance gain, as well. I highly recommend shipping your PCM to Steve to let him work his magic. You won't be disappointed.

Good luck.

Just dont romp on it if its running to lean. Went to a FLP dyno day and after the first pass they removed my car due it running to lean. They said they didnt want to take the chance of screwing up the engine.
