Default What would you do in my situation.

02 vette motor going into a kit car that weights about 2250lbs.

I know motor comes with a ls6 intake from reading on here and that it comes with 350hp. I posted this in the general forum but it seems that most of them are camero, trans am guys. Not alot of action there.

Would 243 heads, cam and a tune get me close 425rwhp. I'm from fords so I know little about these engines and popular mods.

500hp is where I would like to be but I can't spend too much as I have to buy a tranny.

Or, a cheaper turbo kit. I will have to make all the piping for this though.

Not knowing your budget I'd just install the engine as is.

Use the mod money to get the car running.

You can always add more speed parts later; I'm sure 350hp will be a wild ride in a 2200lb car!

I agree with Joshua as there are to many current variables. More info on the car and what your style of driving goals would better help also. Otherwise go for a larger duration cam 235/240+ .600"/.600"+ and the best flowing heads you feel comfortable with, imo for your 500rwhp goal

Yes, a good set of heads, headers, cam and tune will put you over 425
