Default Trying to bleed with ABS InOp light on.

So I have had my ABS light on for quite a while. I know its a fault in the rear channel. Anyways, I ended having to undo the brakes at the rear to drop the rear end. Now I need to bleed them, but I've heard not to do it with an ABS light on.

Can I just take an ABS fuse out or disconnect the rear sensor at the differential then bleed? or just try to bleed anyway?

Anyway around this? I need to drive the car to a shop to get the exhaust welded.
