Bad u-joint....?

Bad u-joint....? My SS has a thumping noise only when moving, I wonder if its the u-joints. I have a stock driveshaft and a Moser 12 bolt with a 1350 yoke. How do you check the u-joints?

Certainly could be. Easiest way to check the rear one is to get under the car and try moving the drive shaft up and down. If you have a greaseable u joint grease it some. If it moves much its time to replace it.
