Default lh8 pan on third gen ls1 swap

has anyone used an lh8 pan for their swap? if so how was k-member clearance. also any ground clearance issues? ls1 is going in a 88 camaro

Do a search on TGO about it. Its 2" lower than the Fbody pan which is dead flush with the bottom of the K-member, so ground clearance is an issue. Truck pans are more compact so clearance around the K-member should be excellent

The Fbody pan will fit the best. 2nd best is the LS2 corvette pan, but those are hard to come by

I would check into the LhX pan that Retro LSX offers. It has the same depth as the f body pan but almost as much sump clearance as a truck pan.
