Default Power wire from amp connecting to battery? How?

So the amp/sub is almost completely installed and of course you would know that the last step always ends up delaying the finished product. I got a Streetwires amp wiring kit and the power wire has a ring much like the grounding wire but it does not fit on the battery terminal so. Am I missing a piece or something?

I tryed a couple versions from autozone and pepboys and they are horrible. This one fits perfect.
