i just finished installing my watts link and this thing has fought me the whole way. everythings done except the spacers fpr the swaybar. the u bolts will not fit with the spacers. it does not leave me any threads left to put the swaybar brackets back on. i checked auto zone for longer u bolts but no luck.

Try using a small C-clamp to get the nuts started on the U-bolts, it worked for me until I got my new swaybar .
If you can't get that to work you'll need to find some longer 2-3/4" U-bolts; good luck with that!
I was never able to find any before I installed my new swaybar.

I had the same trouble, but I have Strano bars. Ended up going to Home Depot and found longer ones in the fastener section with gate latches, threaded eyelets, hooks etc. I will try to find stronger ones sometime (if needed) in a trailer towing place etc. Carquest, GM etc were hopeless.

Yeah I got lucky, the U-bolts that came with my Hotchkis adjustable rear sway-bar are longer then the factory U-bolts so it worked out for me.
Although, I feel the FAys2 watts link kit should have come with longer U-bolts, at least for the factory sized axle tubes. Or offered as an option.

for now i gave up and removed the sway bar. not happy about it but i needed to move on to other things. later ill check out home depot.

i will say that i was very dissapointed that the fays did not come with longer u bolts, if it was a rare thing than i could understand but this obviously is not a isolated case and for a piece thats advertised as having everything needed to bolt it should have been included. it kind of annuys me i spent so long fighting with it just because he couldnt include a pair of $5 dollar u bolts.

I would have phone the company and request they send the proper bolts. Surely they should have the correct parts included with their kit!

I had no issues installing fays but I used c clamps from an auto store and abandoned the factory clamps. Factory bar.

For the price they charge, all necessary parts should be included -- plug n play.
