I actually like it, works well with the car. Plate surrounds like that are cheesy IMO, but everything else works. Just needs a shorty antenna and somewhat of a drop!

Heh! I hear you... that "surround" is not my real plate frame, it's simply on there for the time being since a friend and I wanted to snap some pics of both of our "gas guzzlers" with the offensive slogan.

My real one is a nice stainless steel piece, chrome finished, with gold bow ties.

I was contemplating a shorty antenna, but had no plans of lowering the car.

Looks great. The only things I would consider doing to it would be maybe the matching checkered flag stripes on the side near the rocker, and some red calipers. Oh, and clean/powerdercoat those tips. Looks great though! I love the 35th LEs.

Edit: Oh, and in the unlikely event of finding one, the matching SLP grill would look SICK. There HARD to find though.

Ha..! Over on the 35th Anniversary forums (www.35thle.com), RareSS, or Jim Cloud, is the guy who has these banners custom made and available for the guys on the forum. He makes them for very little cost (in fact, almost as if he's making no profit from the sale of them) and more as a generosity to us over at 35thLE. As a result, almost everyone over there has the "Jim Cloud banner" (our attempt at making him famous) on their car and loves it.

I used to have it on mine, i got tired of it after awhile. Now its just the 35th logo that is still on there.
