International Members - Well I'm royally effin' screwed...

I think my ls1 is about to sh!t the bed. Something mechanical is broken inside. Ticking or tapping is the sound, it goes faster as I increase the rpm but not louder. Atleast I know where it is coming from, driver side. I already pulled the valve cover and the rockers, springs and from looking through the springs, the valves are fine but not for sure since they're not apart. Leaves me two things... the lifters or pushrods. I gotta gather all the funds to fix this. Oh another BIG PROBLEM... I'm in England.

SOB, they don't have sh!t in stock here for my car. I gotta shop online and see who can ship APO so I don't have to go through her royal majesty's duty tax. SHYTE!!!

I'm gonna look around if any of the ebay sellers here in UK sell atleast 243/799 heads.

Yep, already ordered a cam and doodads that comes with it... just need a pair of heads.:D

Nobody there can port/polish your stock heads?

And don't even bother on trying to order anything through any of the few official GM dealers here! They'll screw you on parts prices.
It's cheaper to order from the US for me.

For the amount of labor to P and P my heads, I might as well get a set of 243s.

Yeah, tell me about it. I've asked around and they all asked me the same price as the states except its in POUNDS. Pounds>$.:(

I've got everything through the US stores. I bought a set of used 243 heads from a GTO owner in FL. He sent the heads last week. Should be here this coming week.
