Default Headers and cat y

Im thinking of just putting longtubes and catted y on stock exhaust. My question is would it fit in my stock exhausts I pipe? its clamped on so it should slide off and the new one take its place right? I want the sleeper effect

Yes it would ,An your doing the same thing I'm doing I have a ls6 motor about to put bbk headers gonna get some high flow catts for it an running with a morose spiralflow muffler with my stock muffler.

Nice! Then thats what im doing for now. You got to be careful with a DD. One mod done in the wrong direction can give you headaches all day long....literally
