What shifts the tranny, is there 2 pcms or does the pcm for the motor shift the trans. If I do a lq4 what do I need just to get it going . It will be drive by wire.

your arm shifts it. oh!!! you mean the insde of the trans. the engine computer also runs the automatic trans. there is one plug that is round that plugs into the pass side of the trans, that what contolr sline presure and shifting.

are you trying to run carbed? because then you would need a diff computer. they make a standalone trans controller but it aint cheap or for cheap (well cheaper) you could go full manual valvebody.

no efi, so the truck engine pcm will run the tranny also, do i have to change brackets and ***.
