Default Help me KILL my low oil light.

OK the story thus far..

Light came on added 2 qts even tho my stick read full...

Nothing...

Changed the sensor...

Nothing...

Did an Oil change...

Nothing...

My pressure is fine. 42 at idle and at temp.

I hate that damn light! I dont wanna deal with wire maint tbh. Anyone know of a way to get rid of the damn thing? Car runs perfect, smooth, powerful. I just cant get rid of the light.

If there isnt anything left but wireing im pulling the bulb...

are you sure you changed the right sensor? I doubt it is run through a fuse, but it wouldnt hurt to check them all. otherwise you have a broken wire. it shouldnt be that hard to find...

the sensor is a PITA to get to in the side of the oil pan.... you would know if you changed it b/c you would have had to drain some oil or had a mess all over. if you did replace that one, then you have a wiring issue. you can try to jumper the 2 contacts together and see if that gets rid of your light. or if you can find a crimp splice and where the wires run into the engine compartment, splice them together that way. and the light is an SM LED, so good luck pulling it
