Advice on finding a wheel sales job...
Well I'm graduating in August with a marketing degree, and I'd really like to sell wheels. Where do you guys think I should try to start? My goal is to work for a major company (IE Fikse, CCW etc etc), but I'm sure that'll take some work. Unfortunately I don't have any documented sales expierence, but alot of you guys on here prob know me as the "wheel guy" . I think I'd be bad *** at selling wheels. I know it sounds gay, but its something I'm truly interested in.
Any advice is appreciated.
Patrick.

Yeah, we noticed.
Seriously, this is what you do:
1. Write the best resume you possibly can.
2. Go to the various company websites and check out their "careers" or "employment" section and follow their directions to apply and submit your resume.
3. Network your *** off. Often submitting your resume via a company website is useless. It just ends up in an electronic pile that HR never even looks at. Many people get jobs through a "friend of a friend". They either learn about them or get recommended by this acquaintance... or both.

X2 on the start your own business thing..
best advice ever.
You can be the worlds largest used wheel distributor kinda set up like ebay in the way that it is world wide.
new wheels are not gonna make you that much money as you will have plenty of competition and you will market other companies' wheels.
to make a lot of money you would either need to invent a new wheel design or come up with something never thought of like used wheel distribution world wide specialist.
