Default wrapping coated headers?

Is it dumb to wrap coated headers? i've read its not smart. Reason i ask is b/c i recent had to fix some holes in my headers from chopping off the AIR/EGR emission flanges, and thought it would look cleaner w/ header wrap.. any info?

headers are pacesetters, coated

I wouldnt.

Header wrap looks trashy to me anyway, but it holds in heat and moisture and neither of those will be good for your pacesetters.

i know i dont HAVE to, i just wanted to cover the welds on the headers. And i already bought em', but if its going to crack the coating and cause issues obviously id just try and sell the header wrapping.

but thanks for the info guys appreciate it.
