Relo
yeah i forgot to put that i did install some relocation brackets as well... the top hole from the relo bracket gets bolted to the stock mount correct?...then the other 2 holes are for adjusting the lower control arm..

with relocation brackets it should be lower... here's a pic i just snapped, not very good but may give you an idea. another thing, if i'm eye level with my wheel i can see my relocation brackets under the rotor if that give you a better idea.

yeah thats what mine look like... and I expected to have a much stiffer ride after installing the lcas but i keep hearing this weird clunk noise... some ppl have told me its probably the bushings? any ideas?

hm, not sure. does it happen on bumps, acceleration..?? mine does get a little clunk occasionally on bumps, but i really dont remember if that was before the relocation brackets or not. did you torque up the brackets nice and tight?

well i tightened everything up but theres still a noise?.. ive heard a couple different opinions of what it might be.... a bad strut, hatch shaking, the lca bushings, and it might be something (and i say "something" bc i cant remember what he said) bottoming out near my lower control arm? ever heard of anything like this?...

to hijack the thread....
i jus finished lubing my shiz up, and i get a clunk on acceleration AND over bumps.... i know it's from the arms, they've been on there a while, should i jus go back and tighten them up some more?

yes i used a grease gun and greased the outsides of the inserts and i greased the insides till the grease came out of the bolt holes... so ive been paying real close attention to where and when the noise occurs and im thinking that it also happens at acceleration and bumps especially! i can see why it happens when i hit bumps but why would it do it when the car accelerates?

Hello
You will have to be careful....I would only suggest 1-2 pumps per bushing. You do not want to blow the bushing out. If you do happen to blow it out you will need to replace them with replacement bushings. And make sure that the hardware is torqued down to specs which is 90ft lbs. And make sure the hardware is in good shape and not rusted up because when they get brittle they could break. Just so food for thought guys. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad
