Default Just bought another V...

This is my third V due to totalling 2 silver ones...i picked up a 2004 black on black with 47000 miles...has magnacharger with front mount intercooler,60lbs injector,kooks 1''7/8 longtubes,rpm level 4 transmission,06-07 diff, really clean and solid car...very quick too!

also looking to buy rear cradle bushings and pinion suport...and lowering springs,,also would buy a used set of wheels if anyone has some

first one i just had the car lowered and bmr rear suspension parts put on and was testing it...100 around a curve and lost control...second i was leaving bdubs and had to much to drink and hit a large curb and ran through a brick sign and totalled it out...

Don't quote me on this but I believe over 50% of the Gen I V's have been wrecked...

Sounds like a nice car. Try to keep it in one piece. I also have a BMR pinion support and anti-wheelhop bar f/s that I need to pull off my old V.

They were suppose to make 6000 CTSV's 4000 STSV's and 2000 XLRV's.

NOW, thats not actually production numbers but I'm pretty sure they made around 5000 in 04 and around 5000 in 05. GM didn't record all CTSV to CTS sales separately.

So, who knows.

I recall reading years ago that around 50% were wrecked...

there were about some 8000 or so cts-v's made though the 4yr run. they had a vin checker on the other forum.

Yeah I looked for almost a year for one that was in decent shape and not 100k+...got my first REAL CAR 4 weeks ago....there will never be another Stang in my garage
