need alittle help with tsp offroad Y pipe
I put my hooker long tubes on and no matter which way I assemble the tsp Y pipe it will not line up on any direction. Does anyone have a picture of it assembled correctly... I have literally tried everything and it comes close but one of the angles on the driver side is off quite a bit, is this because of a poorly constructed Y pipe. The way I have it now it lines up to my mid pipe but the angle just is to sharp to bolt together. I am truly leaning towads a bad build Y pipe, any help would be appreciated.

I had to modify mine as well....I have QTP long tubes. No matter how I assembled it, the bottom of the Y wouldn't line up with my cat back. After some adjustment and trimming, I finally got it to fit. I still think it was worth it. Mine does not hang too low either

I'm not sure why you guys are having to trim anything.....we have quite a few LSx specialist shops that install these every day and have no issues what-so-ever. Yes, they will (as will we) admit that it takes a bit more patience to install than the average 3 peice ORY, but the end fitment result is much better!

In all honestly I couldn't get it to fit at all. Me and a friend spent hours on trying to puzzle it together. I couldn't get it so I took it to a muffler shop. I was going to have them weld it together anyways after I figured it out so I just gave up and took it there. This was trying to put it on the TSP headers. I dont think it was a lack of patience.. Im a big fan of texas speed though so when I go to replace this one I will buy it again. It just wasn't easy...

Every car is different, my car has hooker headers so I dunno if maybe they where causing the fitment issues, I shortened my pipes and everything fit like a glove, I am very happy with it, it is no big deal. It is an aftermarket HP part and I didn't buy your headers so I am not too concerned with doing some mods I was happy with the fast shipping, great service and a high quality product.

My brother and I installed a TSP ORY on his SS a week ago.
We fucked around for quite a while trying to get it into place, but it wasn't due to the construction of Y-pipe. It fit together perfectly.
Our problem ended up being that we were attempting to slip the Y into place without messing with the catback. What we were doing was trying to assemble the Y from the catback forward to the LT's. This prooved to be a real bitch and was where we wasted alot of time.
Once we loosened the catback from its mounting brackets and built the ORY off the headers, back to the I-pipe, it went together pretty quick. This way you're only trying to get the I-pipe of the catback to line up with the exit of the merge on the Y-pipe, instead of trying to keep the 4 pieces of the ORY together and lined up with the collectors of the headers.
In conclusion, initially we were making the install harder than it had to be and, most likely, thats what most of you guys are doing too.
