Do you have to trim anything to make them fit? Can you still run the inner fenderwells or do you have to remove them?

My 26'' fronts are really close to rubbing I can't imagine that you could run a 28'' front without rubbing. Haven't personally tired it though so take that for what it's worth.

Yeah I noticed that on mine also. Less so with skinnies I'm thinking but I'd like to see if Coach or Tosto or someone else can guide me here.

What's the advantage to 28" in the front vs 26"? Especially on a 15" wheel?

increased rollout... better ETs, we're talking a few hundredths.

They are very close, I had to trim mine to make them fit.
I also removed the inner fender plastic piece as well. It was leaving rub marks on them. Must have been either from the launch or hard breaking on the big end.

Pretty sure Gizmo runs 28s up front and I seen his car pull nasty wheelies.

You have to remove all the inner fender plastic, the tires will rub all over the place if you don't.

Plastic inner fender liners are gone and i'm slowing rubbing the paint off the steel support under the location of the stock battery. Also be sure to massage the sharp lip directly over the centerline of the wheels where the fender and innerfender structure are bolter together. Once you are under there it will be very obvious what you need to remove. I just took a flapper wheel and contoured the the edges to match the opening of the shock towers on the inside. Here is a still shot with 28's on the front and 29.5's on back.
