Default Quick o2 install question

I got o2s im about to install, but i happened to stumble across ngk o2s when i was on their site looking for plugs, and it started mentioning proper torque specs for the o2s, using gaskets or flanges and all this ****.

Do i really need this **** just for my o2s?

The o2 should have a type of crush gasket on it. Just tighten it as normal. Put some anti-seize on there too.
