Default spoilers...

I have always liked the look of the gm spoiler and the specter werkes spoiler on our cars, but never enough to have it on mine...

I am thinking of buying one and just mounting it with the 3m tape rather the the bolts, in case I don't like it...

What's the differences between cts sport oem and specter spoiler? If anything, thanks...

Pics welcome

Default Fringe benefits

I was coming home from work this morning (rural drive) when the road widened to 4 lane divided.

A Supra pulled up beside me at about 65. Speeds gradually increase above the posted speed limit.

A B&W tops the hill in front of us, we both slow, still shadowing each other.

The B&W, flips a U and comes up behind us ...

He pulls the Supra over.

The benefits of being an old man in Cadillac.

I have the spectre and couldnt imagine not having a spoiler i love how it adds to the car. Just be ready to spend about 600 for the spectre on the car. spoiler 400+50 shipping+150 to paint and mount(but its worth every penny).

I have the GM spoiler and I actually dont like the look of the rear on these cars without one. Either the Spectre or GM were a must for me when buying a V

Can you guys post some pics of each of yours? Like side profile to see how far it hangs over rear and how tall each is, maybe a top view to see if the design is different, rear view to see is it rounded or sharp edges that finish it...

May be I'm asking for too much, and I know spectre is pretty expensive, anyone know cost on gm??

I have the flush mount gm spoiler, got it on ebay painted for $120. Don't have a pic, but it looks almost identical to the Spectre spoiler. Many people will agree on the forums. You either like the look or you don't (of having a spoiler), but I don't know of any reason to spend 600 that makes sense.

I'm only interested in a "flush mount" spoiler. Are GM and Spectre the only places to find one?

Thanks,

i have had my Gm spoiler chilling for a year becuase I don't want to drill holes and FCK it up and never have any down time to bring my DD to the body shop..

anyone else do this DIY style.????

any ideas on what kind of prep the trunk lid needs since there wont be any bolts holding it down??
