Racer's Lounge - I noticed a pattern in the Racer's Lounge

Every once and a while I come to check in here and see a pattern of threads, not in a specific order, but something like:

MMA
Football

My girlfriend learned MMA and broke my computer and dumped me for someone who just plays video games.

And it just kinda goes on.

Every once and a while someone changes it up, but it's usually these same topics.

Nothing else going on. lol.

Ricers are dumb because they speed down the highway 20 over at 17.00 in the evening but I'm self-justified to run them down and beat them in a race weaving from lane to lane and risks other peoples' lives because I am in a V8 RWD car.

Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast. As these cars get older, younger and younger kids are able to afford them. I'm willing to bet there's at least 100-200 16 yr old kids on this site posting frequently that owns these cars now.

It's just a matter of time.

FWIW, my son will be driving a beat up Volvo for the first 2 years he drives. Indestructible, and isn't fast. ;)

Yeah, there's been a changing over since I started here, a lot of well respected and good members either started lurking or left and a bunch of new guys started becoming regulars.

Yep. However LS1tech is still the pinnacle for housing the largest wealth of LSX based information on the internet, so it's still a great useful site.

Baseball, in my opinion, is about the equivalent of excitement to painting trees on a wet canvas and watching it dry. However it's got one of the largest fan base followings in all of american sports.

I dono man, I got my Volvo up to 120 going down a hill once. But in all fairness, this website is still about 10x better than a lot of other forums out there, even with the young'ns.

as a matter of fact, yes i do. I absolutely cannot stand football for some reason. It bores me. And no i never liked playing any kind of contact sports and really don't care to watch them either :shrug:

Bitching about infractions you've gotten in the past in totally unrelated threads is a pet peeve of mine. Straight up lying about why you got them and complaining about it like a little girl rather than taking your issues to PM is even worse.

The lounge is a place for mature, topical discussion. A mature, well-debated argument is encourage, but there's no place for needless flaming here. Read through the rules again and learn to follow proper forum etiquette (eg, don't hijack threads).

This issue is finished -- PM me if you still have a problem, or PM an administrator if you think you've been wronged. But you will stop hijacking threads by dumping your girly tears all over them or it will be made so that you cannot post at all.
