Heres few pics of my backyard. I designed everything myself. I paid for the rock work to be done and did all the cedar work myself.
My grill area:
Outdoor fireplace:
The pergola I built last year:
Few other shots, I had some reallly badass looking palms but the freeze this year took a toll on them. I hope they come back.

Brandon Lynch from the Houston Performance Driving forum does these kinds of upgrades for a lot of HPD homes. His username of the forum is lynchZ06. Will PM you his direct #. Sure he can send you pics of his work.

Wow! That's a killer looking setup RC! I really like the rock work. I want to do the same style rock for the flooring and the grill setup! I really want to do a pool, but the funds aren't there for it, and I really don't know if I can keep up with the maintenance even on a Salt Water setup.

I'm currently doing my parents backyard stone flooring like rc. I must it's a pita but worth the effort. And that stone adds up quick. Love that pergola, may do something similar on the stone part of our backyard

This is what I do for a living. Here some progress pics of what I'm building now, I have done about 50 of these in the dfw area over the past 20 yrs.
This is the 1st stage, cut the deck and install piers and beam:
With the block wall in place on top of the concrete beam, the slab goes in place on top of it:
With the steel post and 8" I-Beam supporting the roof, brick columns go in 1st and we start on the block work for the kitchen structure and patio:
Concrete Steps:
Here it is going together:
Getting closer:
Lueters Slabs Being Cut to Fit:
I've been on this job now for 5 weeks, I'll post up more pics tomorrow, we havnt taken pics in a about a week.
