Default Help with wifes car cd player install

Ok I attempted to install a dual cd player in my wifes 2003 cavalier I have the gm 2000 interface wiring harness. Matched up all wiring by the colors only wiring left was blue amp wire and an orange wire in the harness. the chimes work but cd player will not turn on. Anyone know what might be the problem ?

the orange wire could b the power for the memory of the radio so u dont have to set the radio everytime u switch it on i THINK..check the radio manual again..and the blue amp wire should b connected to the powerd control of ur radio if it has an amp output!
