Default What actual sale value of a car like mine?

My car was totaled, and I need to find out what a car like mine would go for on the actual market.

He told me to find cars for sale that are like mine, but I'm having trouble finding any.

I need to see what a 1999 Camaro Z28 with Leather, T-Tops, Power Windows, Power Driver-seat, Monsoon (or whatever they call the Camaro version) Stereo System, Power Truck, CD Player, Automatic, with around 105,000 miles.

I did notice some similar cars on autotrader going for around $8k, but I'm sure those were the people who vastly overestimated the value of their cars.

Anyway, does anyone have an idea of the average value of a car like mine?
Or have anywhere to point me other than autotrader and cars.com?

Do this ^^^ When my TA was totaled 2 years ago this is what I did. I found the most expensive cars in my area, Sacramento, Ca at the time, and they wrote me a check for $16,500 when my loan was only 13 when I bought the car with no down in 2004. I don't know if I was lucky or what, it only had 35,000 miles on it though.

Just go on AutoTrader and Craigslist. Theres people asking 10k for 100k mile Z28's. Whether they sell or not is a different story but I'd say 8k would be good.

$8,000 is not terribly high if the car was in good condition. If it had dents, bald tires, needed paint, etc..then accurate pricing needs to be adjusted.

I in no way mean to seem as if I'm upset or bent about what you said.

My Car was F**cking beautiful. It's hard for me to say that unbiased as the owner of your car, but do a search of post where I posted pics of my car after a detail or such, especially the later ones.
