Default Who can Weld? (headers)

ok, im looking for someone that can weld up the egr and air ports on my headers... i removed all that stuff and have block off plates on them now but on the EGR one while taking it off one of the bolt heads stripped off so i dont have a very good seal there. i want to cut off the ports and have them welded shut. let me know if anyone can help out here. im in lewisville. thanks

Why not call Ray at Fortress. I am sure that he will do it for you and for a good price too.

Get ahold of Sean Freese he's got a shop in Rowlett his sn on here is KECHME.

Run it down to mill street and go to Miller muffler or the boat impellor place. the boat shop has welded a couple things for me in the past. They are past RPM's old shop on the right before Valley Ridge. There is a welding shop right next to Miller Muffler too.

I still have the roller too. Apparently everyone that said they needed one doesn't, lol.

Just take them to any muffler shop unless you want them to be pretty. Had mine cut off and welded shut for like 15 bucks, took em 10 minutes for both.

i thought about it, i was just seeing if there was anyone a little closer before i made the drive out there... again lol

i went to miller a while ago and they said they didnt want to do it...?

the ones i have gone to say they wont touch the headers... they are still on the car, were yours on or off?

drill the hole out and get a longer bolt then put a nut on the back.

Take it to HPP in Lewisville and ask for Chris Marsh. He will take care of you.

id rather just have them completely cut off though...

I had Ray at Fortress do my old hookers before he sent them off to jethot. he did a whole square patch and it looked very nice after the coating.

i know ray does great work, he did my true duals. you think he can do that with them ON the car though? il give him a call tomorrow...
