It's going to depend heavily on the options you want a 1LT car will always be lower in price then a 3LT, thats why Vette prices are some what all over the place. Your going to have to look pretty hard though, lot of people want to much simple because it's a Vette.

Yes and no, keep in mind they also cost a good bit more brand new, it's almost proportional for the price far as the initial loss goes. That 2008 some one posted getting for $30K, chances are it was a 1LT optioned car, fairly bare bones, with rebates they could be had for about $42K new from the right dealer. $30K isn't a stellar price, it's about what a 1LT car will sell for. A similar C6 Z06 of the same '08 vintage could have been had for $66K new from the right dealer, clean 08 Zs from what I have seen are in $47K mark. If you do the math, after two years they both retained about 71% of their initial value. I have seen a couple 06 Zs for $39-40K.

I just did a quick search on Autotrader.com for 2005-2006 Corvettes within 500 miles of Houston priced under $31k with under 60k miles that have heated seats (3LTs come with heated seats). It returned 40 listings.

You can definitely find a well optioned C6 with low miles for under $30k.

Here's one example of those listings (2006 3LT Z51 with NAV and real low miles).

If you prefer a 6spd manual...

I'd pay around 27k for a LT3 Ls2 car, and around 30k for a LS3 car. Sorry, the LS3 even in base form is just worth that much more to me.

Severly confused if you think $30k for a '08 with 20k miles is "not a stellar price", even if it was a LT1(which it isn't).....conisdering the TMV of these cars is 33k right now for a base car. Yea, you are trying to talk yourself into a reason why you can find a LS3 car for 30k or less.

There ARE LS3 cars out there, but not many with relatively low miles.

However, a LT3 car in a LS2 setup shouldn't be too much of a problem to find for sub 30k even. The step to 08 or newer is a little more difficult(but can still be done obviously).
