Default slip between 2 & 3??

at WOT the shift between 1 & 2 is pretty strong. but between 2 & 3 the shift is some what lack luster. doesnt shift as hard as it does between 1 & 2. even when im not at WOT i can tell there is a difference between 1 & 2 and 2 & 3.
some have said the tranny is slipping. any ideas?

is that the best you can do?

can you provide some information about the shift kit, like brand, what kit, when was it put in.....

You can buy a car from the dealer, put a shift kit in at 10 miles and cause a 2-3 flare if not set up properly.

Take the pan off, break the filter open and unfold the element. if you see a lot of sludge anywhere it's the 3-4 clutch.
i didnt know i had to provide what brand. it was a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer. i just up'd the line pressure. i know its not the same as a kit from B&M but whatever. lol

What do you want me to do? You have line pressure jacked up with that programmer and it's still slipping. 3-4 clutch is 98% of the time the first clutch to go, it can hang on longer with more line pressure, 2-3 flare is THE most common symtom of the 3-4 going out (unless a shift kit or servo was just installed), when a clutch goes out it leaves trash and sludge in the pan and filter. haha
sorry bout that. seriously, thanks for the help.

ugh, more money down the drain for me...
