Default How restrictive is a stock catback?!

I finally got around to installing my long tubes and for now I am just using the factory catback. The problem is...the sound is exactly what I am looking for. I can cruise on the highway with no noise, but when I get in it I can feel it and I get a nice sound.

How much HP would I be losing with the factory catback compared to a hooker or magnaflow?

5-10 hp gain from a catback...I had a dynomax muffler on a ws6 catback before swapping to the LM1 and I felt a definate increase so id say it might be a little more.

What else do u need to know..its definately worthwhile and should be one of the first mods...most say the restriction is the muffler but it you read my post above that doesnt seem to be the case.

Ok, thanks. I will get a catback after my headers and ypipe are in and I have time to recover from that purchase, and a cutout will be in place!
