Default Unplugged plug question

Does anyone have any idea as to what this plug is for?

My abs and traction control seem to be working just fine and I don't have the ABS INOP light on.

Im not for sure but it almost looks like an evap system plug in. Could be wrong. But it has to go somewhere. Also look and see if the abs light is on with the key on engine off. Your abs light could be burnt out.

I've seen the ABS light on before so I know it's not burnt out.

It looks like a two wire 3 channel ABS only connector (sensor mounted on top of the rearend housing). Was the rear axle swapped? I question the axle swap, because the pic shows a TCS/ABS wheel sensor harness running down the axle tube to the driver's side axle end...

It's got traction control and ABS. It's a 2002 car, maybe it's just due to GM laziness lol
