Default blinkers and steering

When I put my blinkers on one side doesn't blink. I believe this is because on of the bulbs is out. However this bulb keeps going out everytime i put a new one in. Could this be due to a bad body control module? And also after i complete a turn the blinker wont go off by itself is this an easy fix? (not a big deal but just aggravating)

My steering has play in it but it doesn't seem lose. There is a specific point where it starts to turn the wheels on both sides (almost like on tooth of a gear is missing). What could cause this and how do i fix it?

Its probably a cracked turn signal lens that's allowing water to get in. Water + Hot Bulb = Bad.

Is there water in the bottom of the lens?
