Default 1st time

Ran the z down the track 4 times yesterday, my 1st time ever. Kinda nervous as I lined up, but what a rush. Stock with only an air lid & 275/40 17 my best 60' 2.173 best 1/8 8.89 at 82.8 and 1/4 13.668 at 103.02 . I had trouble spinning off the line and not knowing how to launch or how much of a burnout to heat the tires. What kind of burnout should I be doing with general exclaim uhp, short tire cleaning or longer smoky burnout ? Also any launch suggestions its an a4 ?

Short tire cleaning burnout on street tires. Go around the water box. And launch off idle, then raise it some and each time try something different. Mine did better just barely above idle on the stock convertor.

W/ street tires it hard to know but i would say a short burn out to clean the tires and w/a stock auto bring the converter up to were just before u feel the tires to break loose. But let some air out of the back tires and add some air too the front tires.13.60's are average for your car and is a good # to start with.Let the bolt-ons begin.

Dropping the air in your tires will help out.
