NED Friday 4/30 anyone anyone Anyone going to NED tonight ? I went last Wed tranny wouldn't shift from 2nd to 3rd .but re tuned and ready to race! See ya up there

Not the best night to go to NED! 5 minutes after 6 an older guy with an old Red Ferrari I think with a chevy small block, he's been going there for years blew up his rear, it looked like a bomb went off, a huge explosion! track was shut down for and hour 6:05 till about 7 Got three runs in ran a new PB 12.5 108 with a 1.8 short time, hopefully with better track condition I can run a low 12???

Anyone stay long enough to see the guy in the red gt500 lose it & eat the wall head first? Fun to watch but I was 2 cars behind him & they shut down the track for the night...

I don't think the track was that bad... He dumped the clutch bounced off the limiter for a hundred feet or so and then grabbed second hard while still burning. The car started to go right (right lane), he stayed in it and over corrected, cut across the track and hit the left wall pretty much head on. The impact was hard enough to push the concrete barriers back and both air bags deployed, but I think he was fine. He had plenty of time to get bak out of it when it started getting sloppy buthe just never let off
