Well your questions are a little odd. there are all sorts of engines out there. I have no clue about anything that deals with a 403...Haven't heard of it. But the LT1 is a decent motor from what I have heard. But if your buying and engine and you have the money for a 4## sized motor and ya asking about an LT1. Why not save yourself the trouble and get and LS1... Good Luck
