Default for those of you that don't use your antenna

and don't want to spend the money on a power antenna also. i bought a $.30 rubber cap at home depot, and screwed the antenna off, and put the cap over the screw. now the car looks clean, because the little black cap covers the metal (except the very base). it's a cool mod if you never use your antenna

Hmm very good idea. I'll have to do this for shows.

ya, i actually only listen to cd's. radio quality isn't very good, and i very rarely hear two songs in a row that i happen to like. so, heh, i just don't listen to the radio. besides, without the antenna, our cars look a little more sleek.

well, it's in home depot in the screws section. they are just small little rubber caps, heh, i don't know how better to explain them.

i actually wound up buying another rubber piece that fits at the bottom of the antenna. this covers the outer piece of the antenna, which prevents it from rusting. i'm not sure that it would rust anyway (it may be stainless steel), but i am **** like that, so i did it. i bought that piece in lowe's.

just go to your local hardware store and look around. i'm sure you'll find something similar. i'll have pics probably in a day or two. i'll be posting pics of my complete ride, and i'll try my best to get some of the !antenna mod
