Default 409 w/ 200

Input appreciated..
were gonna take a 409 with..get this..stage 2 5.3 TEA heads and a 240/246 cam ..run at 11.75 to 1 and add a 200 shot and a simple walbro intank pump upgrade. What are the problems with his picture....or dont you find any?
Initial thoughts were exhaust flow...they are 1.55
the second was fuel.

Run the cam on a 114 lsa and a little more duration could probably help but you might make it ok. Make sure ya have everything o-ringed and spray more on it if ya want. IMO thats the whole point of going iron block(200+ shots). Of coarse I would do it with a direct port set up with a seperate fuel system with ANYTHING over a 150 shot.

that would be the best way to go
That walbro will be fine for motor but it would be pushing the limits with a 200 shot. I am still trying to figure out how I am gonna do this also. My NX wet kit single nozzle will only go to about 150 shot so now I am trying to see if I have to get another kit or go DP.

I would send those heads back to TEA and have them do a stage 3 porting just to get the most out of it.

I've had good luck running Kenne bell boost a pumps with Nitrous shots..With a 409 I would change the fuel system over to a Speed inc. setup to supply enough fuel volume.

How does that KB pump work
Is it just a inline pump if so how much will it help out? Say if we had a walbro intank which is good up to about 650rwhp and added this KB pump would it now be 750rwhp?

The Kenne bell is just a voltage booster.I use them on blower/nitrous cars.
I have a Cartek X package car running one.Went from 11.2 to 10.6 with a TNT 75 shot,stock fuel pump,and boost a pump.Also have a 98TA with a Procharger running 8lbs of boost with one too.
It does help with fuel pressure as we test it on the dyno.

Thanks for the input. This C5 was running 11.67 natural, did 10.85 with a wet 75 and 10.64 with a wet 100 nx shot. This was a stock bottom 346 with tea 5.3's and a 224/224 112 .58x, exhaust, Cartek clutch, 4:11s, Vararam , an ASP pully, and stock fuel system other than 30lb injectors.
So thew quandry is how much ET will we actually gain with the 5k in the shortblock, fuel and N2o upgrades? Are 9's in the cards?
5k to try tocut 7/10s... we are a funny people.
Hell, in my personal case it'll be 20k to cut 2 seconds if i'm lucky...very lucky.
Doh .....Bart.

Id say 9's are possible, but you would have to go ahead and get the stage 3 port job done and skip over anything else. Theres no shortcuts to the 9's.

Dammit, he has a pocketbook issue, as we all can at times... so it looks like we'll post results with the 5.3 1.55 satge 2s and in the summer the 60 cc 6.0 stage 3's.
Thanks
