Got my LS2... now what!?!
Hey folks, well I got my LS2 with trans all from the same TBSS. So I know the simple stuff, oil pan don't even think about it, trans needs to be converted to 2wd or sell it and get a 4l80e. I don't have a gas pedal... what one to get?
As for the wiring can anyone confirm the pin outs, all the info I can find seems to stop around 2002. Seems no local shops do custom harnesses so I will do this on my own.
Any other input is welcome, much obliged.
Baynut.

look into speartech for your wiring harness.......they did my harness.....kinda pricey but they test all their harnesses on engines and run them before they send them to you so you know everything will work....i went to their shop and was very impressed....

What will this be going in? Depending on alot of vaiables you could run a truck harness + pcm...are you going to use the truck intake? If you would like to sell the TBSS intake manifold pm me a price for the intake & fuel rails....It doesn't fit under many car hood's...

Put it in something
First thing I did is make a stand to test run it on because I did my own harness. My time line was pretty much this
Got engine
Made stand
Labeled all connections
Got engine running
Removed anything not needed in the harness
Tested again, everything checked out
Began the installation.
Getting the engine running was the easiest thing... getting in the truck ('89 toyota 2wd) and everything working... well. Ya. If I get my tach working I should be doing some test runs tonight or tomorrow.

This is going in a 79 t/a, I want to lower the motor and set as far back as possible so the intake may work.
I will check out that company but I don't think that it's in the budget to be honest.
Any ideas for the pedal? and should I keep that trans?
