Hey I have beem researching a little bit on here bout e85 conversions and would like to know how much pump i will need for 425rwhp?

Now i know that e85 use's 30% more fuel so i would need a pump that would support 552.5 rwhp if im doinf my math right, and it would be ideal to get a double pump from lonnie's custom pumps but the money just isn't quit there.

So im asking for advice on what you all are running, i have seen that some people are just putting in a walbro 255lph and bigger injectors and going right for the tune but idk what hp rating that they're at. I have a granitelli 255lph pump in right now and 42lb injectors but my tuner dosent think if i have enough pump? I do have a buddy that is running his Ls7 that dynoed 557.9 on a racetronix 255lph pump, so is 255lph enough to run the e85 at 425 rwhp?

I know that the walbro's are better or more preferred by you guys rather that the granitelli and it might burn up but if 255lph is enough pump, then i will just buy a walbro or racetronics pump and change out my granitelli. Thanks for the help

The Walbro like the Racetronix can handle that much power on E85 pretty easily.

Hey thanks. Do you think my granitelli will hold?

Also, My buddy with the ls7 in his camaro wants to run e85 also. he dynoed 557rwhp so should he go with the double pump system?
