I need new 02 sensor and to replace my alt...have no idea..
probably just gonna take it to a shop, cuz i need to study for my final on thursday.
i know both are pretty easy.
does anyone have any tutorials on how to do these? preferable with lots of pics?
cant find a detailed tutorial on the alt.
also, what tools would i need?

The alternator is held on by 2 15mm bolts.
The large wire coming from the alternator is held on by a single 13mm nut i believe.
Don't forget to unplug the pigtail on the back of the alternator.
You will have to remove the serpentine belt of course using a 15mm wrench to move the tensioner.
Do it yourself save the money. It won't take long at all. If it won't budge after unbolted tap it with a rubber mallet or use a pry bar. Don't let it fall on your head.

Get the Denso 02 sensors, PERIOD!!! Bosch are **** (for alot of cars they just do not work).
GM uses the Densos as their own 02 sensors now. If you buy 02 sensors at the dealership, you will get Densos in the AC Delco box.
Get the 2344087 Densos, they work in any sensor position, doesn't matter. Zip-tie the extra wire to the frame. $42.00, you'll have them Thursday.

Or go to Rockauto.com, they have them for $39.00 each.
