you can get an adapter to fit the tko to your original speedo cable. I plan to use an Auto meter electric speedo and use the built in vss in the tko on my 67/6.0.

I am using a Chevy speedo cable with the TKO in my LS2 Datsun. My TKO has both electric and mechanical speedo hook ups, so don't see why you can't use the mechanical for your dash speedo and route the VSS to the PCM.

If you want to keep your mechanical tach, you can use a Dakota Digital pass thru VSS. I added one to my conversion and it took care of stalling problems encountered without it.

Try
http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd109.htm
Item SEN-01-4160
If your TKO still has the ford output, call DD. They have adapter cables for space limited applications. They have old stock cables that will adapt the TKO ford ouptput with a 6" cable to the GM sender. You gotta ask for it as it's an old item they dont list any more. Then take your mechanical speedo off that.

Well.......I dont know exactly how its going to work yet..I'm still waiting for my L92 vic jr - so my car is stationary. But I do know that the pass side tail housing of the tko has a ford vss built in. I plan to use an autometer electric speedo, and use the ford vss to trigger it. The Autometer speedo is supossedly adjustable for input pulses(PPM)to work with any oem vss, so I hope it will work.

They are very adjustable and work very good. I was impressed with how easy they are to calibrate. Mine was showing only 10 mph at an actual 70 mph. So I wasn't sure if I would ever get there. It doesn't have any problem. It will count the pulses in 2 miles and calibrate itself.
