How much does this pan increase capacity? Are there any other differences between this pan and the stock F-body pan?

Just ask for the filter for a 2002 Silverado. It's about 1"
longer in the neck, matching the pan.

There were a few years of pickup truck that had the
pan with drain plug.

I got mine off eBay.

Look into one of these. I have a Derale Pan Cooler for almost 2 years now and about 75 passes. Not only cools fluid a bunch, but holds just a 'lil over addl. 2qts.++
Find it at derale.com
The part is seen under Transmission Pans on page 13, under Part #14104 & 14204 (new design)
$130 at one of the major HiPerf Parts suppliers on our LS1 Tech site.
Good advice to use the Silverado filter also.

Truck pan Vince told stated in another thread increases it by 1 quart and unlike the TCI which he likes bolts right up with no cutting etc... No real clearance problems either.
