Default MY Trans Am Has Been Stolen, Help 2002 CETA

My 2002 CETA Has been stolen from my driveway in Bossier City this afternoon, it was stolen between 12 and 4 pm. It is the only CETA coupe in Shreveport/Bossier area. They only made 2300 of these cars world wide, and 300 went to Canada. The car is a A-4 with 65XXX miles.
IF you see this car call the police ASAP. The plate is PZC 991, LA
Vin is 2G2FV22G222142423
These pics were taken just Saturday.

Best of luck with your car man, I really couldn't imagine my car getting stolen. My beater got stolen twice. This is one of the reason's I got my car off the driveway this summer and am not renting a garage for the summer till she goes to storage in the fall.

That is a nice car man, so sorry to hear that it was ripped off. I know that for a while there was a rash of F-Body thefts in the greater New Orleans area. I remember reading a lengthy thread on it a while back.

I hope your car is recovered soon.

Awesome car- thats horrible that its stolen. I live about an hour away in texas, if i see a yellow ceta this side of the border, i will surely check it out for ya. Hope it all end wells and you get it back in perfect shape. Maybe something good will happen like when the thieves stop to get crack, a diesel truck will plow em over. (I HATE thieves)

Wish i had room in the garage, but I did not. The theives had to know I was gone, I came homefor lunch and swapped out for my motocycle in the afternnon, so it had to be someon that either saw me leave or knew I was at work. None of my neighbors saw anything of course.

Angry

I hate thieves with a passion. If I was to catch one of them trying to steal anything from me I would beat the living out of them.

Damn man that sucks so bad. This is why I choose to live in Maine though. Ya its winter here 7 months out of the year. Yes there isn't anything to do here. Yes, 58% of mainers are overweight or obese. Yes we have a weird accent. Yes we have the highest suicide rate per capita. Yes we have the highest taxes. Yes you can go from downtown portland to the sticks in 15 minutes.

But I can park my car with the windows open, car running with a sign in the window that says "steal me please" at the local mall over night and return the next day with it out of gas and a note on the drivers seat. "Tried to turn the car off but couldn't find the ignition. Sorry I couldn't help, Call me if you need some gas 1-207-***-****."

OUCH that sucks! Beautiful car! I hope you get it back, or get enough money from the insurance company to buy a nicer one (if you can find one)!

Post this in your regional forum and see if any of the people local to that area have seen anything. I've seen forums recover stolen cars for members before. Wish it were in my area so I could help more.

*****UPDATE***** Got a call from a Detective in Horn Lake, MS they found the car and got the bastard that stole it, evidently the car is is great shape, except two flat tires/messed up wheels, I guess he hit something and stopped at a hotel, (those wheels are impossible to find btw) He had a bunch of other stolen property with it, (not mine)
I have to call my insurance tomorow and figure out how I am going to get the car back, hopefully it is not too damaged, they said it looked "mint" but I have my reservations till I see it in person. Either way, I am just glad they found it and my baby is not being violated anymore. Even if the car is destroyed and ends up being a total loss (doubt it)

Going back to sleep now, I will stay tuned for any advice or help

I need some help from a member in the Memphis area to go take a look at the car and maybe take pics of damage for me. The local Police Department here in La, has pretty much washed there hands of the case now that the car was found in MS. If insurance does not help me out with getting the car back to La and fixing it, I may be stuck going to get it myself. Trying to get a intial idea of the damage to the car.
