Wiring question, power to '98 LS1 PCM
Me and my brother are finishing up a turbo LS1 swap in a 2000 v6 Mustang car and last thing we got left to do is some wiring for the PCM. We're using a complete engine harness and PCM out of a '98 LS1 F-body and mounting the PCM in the corner of the engine compartment.
We've wired it up using one of the harness diagrams on here in the LS1 Swap FAQ's thread but don't believe the computer is getting the proper power somewhere, engine is turning over but there is no fire.
Anyone else experienced this problem or have another diagram that they have used or can tell me what the constant and switched 12v power wires and grounds that should go to the PCM are?
Thanks in advance.

My brother tested the pink wires today and he said its getting keyed 12v but goes out when the key is turned to start. Any idea whats the cause?
Also, do I HAVE to have the PCM flashed for this swap? I don't see why I should because I pulled the PCM and engine harness altogether from the donor, should just have to power it up..
And I've read something about security features, could any of this be the issue?
Thanks

you have to supply the power to that wire from the ign. it must be hot when cranking also or it'll never run
You will have to have the VATS removed from the pcm. Its sent by the BCM
