Bad speedo Gear? Video Inside

Hey guys check this out. I got my car to do its grinding noise and tapped it. Every time it grinds like this the speedo seems to fluctuates . Could this be a bad speedo gear or something else. Also what could cause this.

I don't know but I'd inspect the wiring to the VSS, the VSS, use a mirror to inspect the reluctor wheel ("speedo gear") while rotating the driveshaft.
