Ok im going with a metalic color because HOK is expensive and a Tri stage pearl is also very pricey.
So ive made up my mind, if cyber grey can be had in ppg at a reasonable price im going with it
Anyone care to share info on it?

I know that, im using only PPG!
Just wondering what kind of paint it is, im hoping its just a metalic
Im tempted to go with HOK candy color, but its my daily and I want somthing that isnt so expensive.
HOK is almost 1000 dollers for liquids

While it's true that CG is a regular BC/CC 2 stage metallic, it is very expensive. The last time I bought it the price was over $200 a quart in PPG Global. It does cover exceptionally well however. You could probably do an entire car including the jambs and under the hood with a gallon.
An alternative to the PPG top dog products would be Matrix, or Diamont. Those are less expensive while still achieving the factory level of sparkle and pearl.
Stay away from the junk paints like Western, Omni (now PPG shopline) and Nason when dealing with metallics and pearls.

house of kolor galaxy grey metallic is 250 a gallon. its a shimrin metallic base coat if you go to their site and look. im tryin to decide to go with that color or to just have my car sprayed nbm again. nmb just seems to boring to me, if only there was a way to make it look more vibrant

Coarser metallics,blue pearl,flip flop,diamond dust, etc.
This way you wont have to cut the car in again.
