Default Sounds like its cammed....but its not
So this happened yesterday and today:

I start the car and it revves itself up to about 1.5K RPM without me touching the accelerator. Then idles back down but idles VERY rough, it sounds like its cammed but it isnt. Any Ideas?

sounds like a possible vacuum leak? id check for that first.

throwing any codes?

Check to be sure the EGR tube isnt loose going into the intake manifold. ive seen this cause this exact same issue. bolt loosened just enough to cause a vac. leak

WS.SIX got it.

It was the egr on the intake.
